Day 1 Helsinki

Tour of Helsinki
- Temppeliaukio Church, also known as the Rock Church. This is a stunning church that has been carved out of natural bedrock and has a massive copper dome. It is definitely a very unique place
- Amos Rex great contemporary art museum that feels quintessentially Scandinavian
- Herkku Market Bistro – great shopping and dining opportunity
- Senate Square – this impressive square houses a few of Helsinki’s finest buildings
- Helsinki Cathedral
- National Library of Finland for a quick look inside. This library is a beauty and has stunning architecture
- The Sibelius Monument
Day 3 Helsinki
Seurasaari Open-Air Museum – the biggest collection of historic buildings in the country

Day 4 Tallin
Ferry ride to the capital of Estonia

- Town Hall Square to visit the 15th-century hall
- Europe’s oldest continuously-operating pharmacy
- Toompea Hill, atop which sits a castle that now houses Estonia’s Parliament
- Cathedral of Saint Mary (which dates to the 13th century)
- Russian Revival Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
- Maiasmokk Café – traditional Estonian meal at the oldest-operating eatery in Tallinn
- Kadriorg Park, home to an impressive baroque palace built for Catherine I of Russia
- Art museum grounds walk – with Dutch-style canals, French-inspired pathways, and a Russian garden

Day 5 Haapsalu
Seaside resort town of Haapsalu, known for its narrow streets, romantic wooden houses, and seaside promenade.

Day 6 Riga
Transfer to Latvia
Cēsis – founded in 1206 and is the third-oldest town in Latvia. Aside from its historic streets, it’s also home to one of the largest areas of castle ruins in the country. Cēsis has gained a reputation as a village of art and culture.
Special event: candle workshop where you’ll learn about the history of candle making and try your hand at creating your own. You’ll make candles of different colors, shapes, and aromas.
Evening tour of Riga
- Old Town historic district, home to many medieval buildings, Art Nouveau homes, and Gothic churches.
- Quiet Center and Albert Street
- House of the Blackheads, a 14th-century guild house that looks incredible lit up at night.
Day 7 Vilnius

KGB Museum – Communism is an important part of Lithuania’s history, even if it was a dark time.
Walking tour led by a local guide who will show the main places relevant to communism. You’ll get a better idea of what it was like to live under communism

✔︎ There are no special visa requirements for US citizens entering Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland for less than 90 days. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least another 6 months and has empty pages.
▹ Health, Vaccinations
✔︎ All travelers need to be in good physical health in order to participate fully on this trip. When selecting your trip please make sure you have read through the itinerary carefully and assess your ability to manage and enjoy our style of travel. Please note that if in the opinion of our group leader or local guide any traveller is unable to complete the itinerary without undue risk to themselves and/or the rest of the group, we reserve the right to exclude them from all or part of a trip without refund. You should be able to walk at least 2-3 miles a day and be able to climb at least two sets of stairs.
✔︎ You should consult your doctor for up-to-date medical travel information or for any necessary vaccinations before departure.
✔︎ There are no major health risks associated with traveling to Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland.

✔︎ Our travelers are limited to one checked bag and one carry-on bag per person due to storage limitations on motor coaches and other transfers, which may include train connections or flights. Additional baggage can be a subject of extra fees. Contact your airline for baggage size and weight restrictions for your flights.

✔︎ It’s customary to offer your guide and driver a gratuity in local currency. Please keep current exchange rates in mind.
✔︎ We recommend tipping the equivalent of $10 per day per person and giving the tips to tour leaders to distribute between drivers, guides etc.
