Desert, jungle and paradise
Zambia, Botswana and South Africa Tours
Our Zambia, Botswana and South Africa tours focus on the best and most beautiful countries in Southern Africa. Zambia is completely off-the-beaten path when it comes to Africa and yet it is one of the safest and most amazing countries in the region. With 30% of its territory being dedicated to wildlife it is one giant safari park. Livingstone is located on the border of 3 countries so we use it as a base to cross the borders for day trips. We reach one of the top Safari parks on the continent -Chobe Park in Botswana and see Victoria Falls from Zimbabwe. Cape Town in South Africa is quite a different experience offering a stunning natural beauty of ocean and mountains right in the city. We can easily call this itinerary one of our best.

Reviews
We easily had one of the best tours of our lives thanks to Colibri Travel & Tours and its staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. It was our first Zambia, Botswana and South Africa tours and the way they helped us prepare was spot on. Even before the arrival Colibri office in Boston stayed in constant communication with us to make sure we got our malaria pills, recommended books to read and movies to watch. It gave us a great feeling of excitement and safety. We made sure to take advantage of all the activities they had to offer. From sunrise or sunset we were feeding elephants, going on safaris, visiting villages andVictoria Falls. The guides on all of the excursions are knowledgeable and friendly and really help highlight the beauty of the area. We were able to see numerous hippos, elephants, giraffes, baboons, various gazelle and beautiful birds, lion at Chobe in Botswana. It is absolutely brilliant how this tour is set up - with base in Livingstone we were able to also cross to Botswana and Zimbabwe. On our second night we had a magical candle lit dinner in a luxurious tent set up in the bush. The Cape Town part was completely different, yet equally loaded with incredible adventures: tour of the island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, wineries, fascinating table mountains and beaches. The history of aparthaid with the tour of District 6 was devastating yet so important. Finally in Cape Town I had a shopping experience of my lifetime- the Shed. You must visit this place - everything is beautiful, creative and locally made. I went back 3 times! The accommodations were top notch and only matched by the food and service. We definitely left well fed as well.In Zambia we enjoyed our private room on the riverbank that was constantly surrounded by monkeys! In Cape Town we stayed in a beautiful, boutique hotel right across from beautiful gardens. Thank you Colibri Travel & Tours for the trip of a lifetime!
