Day 5  Auschwitz Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mine

Auschwitz Birkenau: The infamous German Nazi death camp. A tour to Auschwitz is one of the most frequent trips made by people visiting Kraków. Detailing the heartbreaking history of this place, this trip may not be for everybody, as it can be an emotionally painful experience. We live it to the teachers to decide if this should be included in the itinerary.

  • Our tour guides will properly prepare students for this experience.
  • Dinner discussion on World War II in Poland

Wieliczka Salt Mine: Wieliczka Salt Mine is a UNESCO listed, historic, underground salt mine. After descending into the mine, we explore numerous caverns, visit an underground church and grand ballroom – yes, all made from salt.
