Havana Libre Hotel
Rum, cigars, and coffee
Address: Calle M, Havana, Cuba.
I have probably visited every legal cigar store in Havana, and the big humidor at Havana Libre Hotel remains my favorite. It has a huge collection of Cuba’s most famous cigars: Cohiba, Romeo and Julieta, Partagas, etc, with all different price ranges and sizes. Cigars are beautifully presented on glass shelves that you can open yourself and select the ones you like. Ask the staff for advice on strength and flavors. No need to worry about quality – all the cigars are surely authentic. The shop also has a good selection of rum, including our travelers’ favorites: Havana Club Maestro and gift boxes with 4 adorable sample bottles. Ah, Cuba!
Havana Airport Duty-free
Rum, cigars, and coffee
Address: Int’l Airport Jose Marti, Havana, Cuba.
The airport store is usually well stocked with a good selection of rum and an assortment of Cuban coffee. My absolute favorite is Serrano followed by Cubita. Cuban coffee is organic, free from acidic tones, and smooth.
